Chanel’s primary material for glove making is Lambskin. This is the main material used. The fibers are extremely fine, the hand-feel is soft and elastic, making it ideal for a close-fitting cut. Chanel typically selects Nappa-processed hides from French and Spanish leather suppliers.

High-end gloves use Deerskin, which combines softness with tensile strength and has a fine texture. Its wear resistance is even stronger than lambskin’s.

For the inner lining, high-end series use 100% Cashmere, Silk, or Silk Knit; for warmer series, a wool-blend lining may be used.

All Shebag products must meet strict Shebag quality inspection standards. Any product that fails to meet export quality standards before shipment will be intercepted.
