Shebag has established an indirect, long-term partnership with Haas, Chanel’s leather supplier in France. Shebag procures authentic Haas caviar leather from European leather distributors, which we use to produce our top-tier replicas.

For lambskin, Chanel has acquired several tanneries, including Bodin-Joyeux in central France and the Richard tannery in Millau, France.

As for stretch leather, Chanel’s supplier is the Italian tannery Conceria Gaiera Giovanni. Because the usage volume for this leather isn’t massive, Chanel did not acquire them and instead maintains a partnership. This is precisely why Shebag is also able to source this exact leather.

Shebag’s leather purchasing volume is nowhere near as large as Chanel’s, so we partner with European leather distributors. Our leathers are hand-selected, which means some of our hides may even be of better quality than those from Chanel’s own tanneries.
